lockHis Writers is a group formed in April 2007 and dedicated to the craft of writing European-based historical novels by members of American Christian Fiction Writers.

Melanie DickersonMelanie Dickerson is from north Alabama.

Her medieval romance, The Woodcutter's Daughter, won First Place overall in the 2007 Fiction From the Heartland Contest. It won third place in the 2008 Romance Through the Ages contest and fourth place in the 2007 Gotcha! Contest. It won third place in the The SWW Christian Novel contest, and was the only inspirational finalist in The Orange Rose contest. The Beholder, Melanie's second medieval romance, is a finalist in The Golden Pen, won first place in the Gotcha! and first place in the South West Writers Contest, Christian novel category. It won second in the historical category of the 2008 Touched By Love contest.
